About the Newport HT 50 Ventilator
The Newport HT50 runs on internal battery power for up to hours of continuous operation, making it practical for transport between units or as backup ventilation when AC power fails. Unlike larger ICU ventilators, it handles both invasive and non-invasive modes in the same compact unit.
Built-in monitoring tracks all standard parameters with comprehensive alarms that won’t overwhelm your staff. The short version: it covers A/CMV, SIMV, and spontaneous modes with pressure or volume control, plus PEEP and pressure support. Tidal volumes range from 100 to 2,200 mL with frequencies up to 99 breaths per minute.
The optional air/oxygen mixer gives you precise FiO2 control when wall gases are available. Fast recharge from AC or external DC means minimal downtime between transports.
