The infinity plan optical system maintains sharp focus across the entire 20mm field of view, which matters when you’re training residents or need multiple people reviewing the same specimen.
In practice, the coaxial focusing with adjustable tension and upper limit stop prevents costly slide damage during routine use. The rear-facing quadruple nosepiece with positive click stops speeds objective changes and reduces the fumbling you get with side-mounted turrets. Worth noting: the 360° rotatable Siedentopf head lets multiple users share the scope without constantly readjusting the base position.
