The VM8 handles continuous monitoring across all patient populations with a single device, switching between adult, pediatric, and neonatal parameters without needing separate equipment. Worth noting: it stores 96 hours of trend data locally, so you’re not losing patient history during transfers or system downtime.

Multi-parameter monitoring includes 3- or 5-lead ECG, Philips SpO2 technology, and multiple NIBP modes (manual, interval, and STAT). The bright display shows up to four waveforms simultaneously, and fixed keys keep operation straightforward during critical moments. Optional Microstream EtCO2 works for both intubated and non-intubated patients.

At 7.7 pounds with a 4-hour battery life, it moves easily between units with the integrated carrying handle and bed rail hanger. Data outputs via HL7 through the Ethernet port, and USB connectivity allows for software upgrades without service calls.
