About the GE Procare B40 Patient Monitor
The GE Procare B40 handles everything from NICU monitoring to OR transport with the same base unit. Its modular architecture lets you add hemodynamic, respiratory, or neurology modules without replacing the entire monitor when clinical needs change.
Unlike fixed-configuration monitors, the B40 adapts to your patient mix. You’ll get 72-hour trend data with graphical display, plus prioritized alarms that cut through the noise. The short version: one monitor platform that scales from basic vitals to advanced neuromonitoring.
The 12.1-inch display shows up to 6 waveforms with user-configurable layouts. Worth noting: it’s GCX-compatible for easy mounting and connects to both CARESCAPE and S/5 networks for EMR integration.
