The LIFEPAK 20 switches between AED and manual modes without missing a beat, giving you automated defibrillation for less experienced staff and full manual control when clinicians need it. ADAPTIV biphasic technology automatically adjusts energy delivery based on patient impedance, which means more effective defibrillation with lower energy requirements compared to monophasic units.

Seven operating modes cover everything from daily patient care to maintenance workflows. The unit runs automatic self-tests every day, including charge/discharge and pacing verification, so you’ll know about problems before the next emergency. Worth noting: the internal NiMh battery keeps settings intact during brief power outages with warmstart capability.

The color LCD displays ECG plus one additional waveform simultaneously, giving clinicians the monitoring data they need without switching screens. Battery runtime hits 120 minutes for standard monitoring, or 35 minutes when you’re not running pulse oximetry.
