The GE Definium AMX 700 brings cesium iodide flat-panel imaging directly to bedside without the positioning limitations of older mobile C-arms. You’ll get processed images in seconds rather than waiting for cassette transport and external processing.
The dose area product meter gives you real-time exposure data, while onboard storage handles over 2,000 images before requiring transfer. The 15-inch touchscreen handles technique selection right at the unit, and wireless networking means images reach PACS without physical connections.
The telescoping arm provides 270° column flexibility for tight spaces, and the rechargeable battery pack eliminates cord management in patient areas. Worth noting: the self-stopping bumper system protects both the unit and surrounding equipment during transport.
