About the GE CARESCAPE B850 Patient Monitor
The GE CARESCAPE B850 Patient Monitor delivers real-time hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring with enterprise-grade connectivity that puts lab results, imaging, and EMR data directly at the bedside. Unlike basic vital signs monitors, the B850 integrates airway modules for gas exchange measurement and maintains continuous trend data during patient transport.
The monitor’s Auto View on Alarm feature automatically shares high-priority alerts across your care unit, while GE’s clinical algorithms including EK-Pro arrhythmia detection and DINAMAP NIBP provide reliable diagnostic data. Worth noting: the patient data module transfers seamlessly between departments, so you won’t lose monitoring continuity during intra-hospital moves.
Care-area specific software packages adapt the interface for OR, PACU, CCU, NICU, and ED workflows. The HD display shows configurable waveforms with beat-to-beat trending, and integrated USB ports accept keyboards, barcode readers, and other workflow tools without adapter cables.
