About the Alaris 8100 Infusion Pump
The Alaris 8100 is a large volume infusion pump that runs continuous and intermittent protocols for the full patient spectrum without module swaps. You can infuse crystalloids, medications, blood products, and parenteral nutrition through the same pump head. Flow rates run from 0.1 mL/hr up to 1200 mL/hr with 0.1 mL/hr increments in the lower ranges.
This module integrates with the Alaris System for drug library support and dose error reduction software. The Class I, Type CF rating means it stays operational during defibrillation, so you won’t disconnect pumps mid-code. Battery runtime gives you about 6 hours at typical flow rates, and the pump accepts standard administration sets without proprietary tubing requirements.
