The Tuttnauer 5050 ELV runs six preset sterilization programs automatically, handling everything from liquid media to glassware without manual intervention. Its microprocessor monitors pressure and temperature through a PT-100 sensor in a reference vessel, confirming actual sterilization conditions rather than just chamber readings.

The LCD display tracks cycle progress in real-time, showing pressure, temperature, remaining time, and any alerts. Worth noting: the RS-232 interface lets you integrate cycle data into your lab management system, while validation ports accept external temperature sensors for qualification runs.

Multiple safety interlocks prevent door opening under pressure or high temperature. The exhaust steam gets cooled before discharge, and the heat-resistant plastic lid covering prevents accidental contact with hot surfaces.
