About the Covidien ValleyLab Force Triad ESU Energy Platform
The Force Triad combines three separate electrosurgical functions in one generator, replacing the need for multiple units in your OR. You get monopolar cutting and coagulation, bipolar coagulation, and LigaSure vessel sealing all from a single platform that works with your existing instruments.
Automatic instrument recognition means the system configures itself when you plug in different tools, eliminating manual setup between cases. The touch screen interface lets you adjust settings quickly, and faster fusion cycles reduce procedure time compared to standalone LigaSure generators. Worth noting: the platform recognizes both current LigaSure instruments and newer models as they’re released.
At 30 pounds, it’s compact enough for mobile carts but substantial enough for fixed installations. The system handles both open and laparoscopic procedures without requiring different configurations.
