The OPMI Visu 160 gives you apochromatically corrected optics with motorized zoom that maintains consistent image quality across the entire 1:6 zoom range. Unlike standard surgical microscopes that lose clarity at higher magnifications, the T* anti-reflex coating and specialized optics deliver sharp visualization from 0.4x to 2.4x magnification without compromising light transmission.
DeepView depth-of-field management lets you toggle between optimized depth perception for complex maneuvers and maximum light transmission when you need every photon. The BrightFlex illumination includes a dedicated red reflex mode that’s worth noting for anterior segment procedures, while integrated slit simulation provides the contrast-rich detail recognition you’d expect from a standalone slit lamp.
Motorized zoom, focus, and X-Y movement speeds are all adjustable, so you can match the microscope’s response to your preferred operating pace. The 40mm x 40mm adjustment range and ergonomic handgrips give you precise positioning without fighting the system.
