The Rad-57 measures carboxyhemoglobin and methemoglobin noninvasively through the skin, giving you carbon monoxide and drug toxicity readings without blood draws. Rainbow SET technology uses multiple wavelengths to detect these dangerous conditions that standard pulse oximeters miss entirely.

You get continuous trending data for up to 72 hours, which means you can track patient recovery from CO poisoning or monitor methemoglobin levels during nitrate therapy. The upside is immediate detection of conditions that otherwise require lab work and delay treatment decisions.

At 8+ hours on AA batteries, it works for extended field operations or when you need portable monitoring between departments. FastSat mode tracks rapid oxygen changes, and the perfusion index tells you when signal quality might be compromised.
