The GE Signa Excite HDxt 1.5T delivers consistently sharp diagnostic images through HD Gradients that produce high-accuracy waveforms and real-time image reconstruction. Unlike standard 1.5T systems, it combines a 16-channel RF architecture with high-density coils optimized for specific anatomical regions.
The upside for busy departments is the Cube 3D isotropic imaging that provides gapless volumetric data while reducing scan times. IDEAL fat suppression software automatically generates separate fat-only, water-only, in-phase, and out-of-phase images from a single acquisition, which means fewer repeat scans and faster patient throughput.
The 60 cm gantry clearance accommodates larger patients up to 350 pounds, while the 48 cm field of view handles whole-body clinical imaging without repositioning. Worth noting: the HD Reconstruction processes images in real-time, so you’re not waiting for post-processing.
