About the DRE SLS 9000 Plus LED Surgery Light
The SLS 9000 Plus delivers 140,000 lux of shadowless LED illumination with real-time adjustability through an onboard LCD touchscreen. Unlike fixed-intensity surgical lights, you can dial in precise brightness and color temperature mid-procedure without breaking sterility or calling for assistance.
The adjustable color rendering index (up to 91.6) gives surgeons better tissue differentiation during complex procedures. Worth noting: the LED array maintains consistent output across its 50,000-hour rated life, so you won’t see the gradual dimming that affects traditional surgical lighting. The system automatically compensates for ambient room lighting to maintain optimal contrast ratios.
Single or dual-head ceiling configurations fit most OR layouts. The 54W power draw per head runs cooler than halogen systems, reducing heat stress in the surgical field.
