The Baxter Bard Infus O.R. Syringe Pump automates drug delivery calculations using magnetically coded SMART LABELs that configure infusion parameters without manual programming. When you attach a labeled syringe, the pump reads the magnetic code and sets the appropriate flow rates, concentration limits, and dosing protocols for that specific medication. This eliminates the calculation errors that occur with manual parameter entry, particularly critical when working with vasoactive drugs or anesthetics that have narrow therapeutic windows.

Real-time dose adjustments happen through a single-hand dial control while the infusion continues running. You can titrate medications up or down based on patient response without stopping the pump or going through reprogramming sequences. The compact design fits easily on cramped OR tables and runs on standard alkaline batteries, so you won’t lose settings during patient transport or power interruptions.
