The Pedigo CDS-148 handles multi-department transport with outboard casters that keep the cart stable during turns and won’t catch on elevator doors. Unlike inboard caster designs, the stem-mounted 8-inch wheels extend beyond the frame for smoother navigation through tight spaces.
Diagonal swivel locks on opposite corners prevent the cart from rolling during loading while still allowing controlled movement. The welded stainless steel frame won’t flex or develop stress cracks under repeated loading, and the height works with most pneumatic tube stations and cart lifts.
Worth noting: the outboard caster configuration can be modified for automated cart systems without compromising the frame integrity. Optional shelving accessories let you configure compartments for specific departments.
