Unlike older anesthesia workstations that require multiple knobs and switches, the A5 consolidates ventilation control into one intuitive display.
Real-time waveform monitoring shows pressure/flow curves and spirometry loops on two large displays, giving you immediate visual feedback on patient ventilation status. The automatic leak detection runs continuously in the background, flagging potential circuit problems before they become clinical issues. Worth noting: the heated breathing system maintains consistent gas temperature throughout longer procedures.
The ergonomic design includes an adjustable swivel arm for the breathing circuit and a single-turn APL valve that’s easier to adjust mid-procedure. Side mounting rails support external monitors up to 55 pounds, while the rear cylinder mounts keep backup gas supplies within reach.
