The Miller American Profile straight blade improves epiglottis lifting compared to conventional Miller blades, giving you better laryngeal visualization during pediatric intubations. The straight profile gets under the epiglottis more effectively, which matters when you’re working with smaller airways where every millimeter of exposure counts.

The frosted lamp reduces shadows that can obscure your view during laryngoscopy. Right-side lamp positioning keeps the light source out of your direct line of sight while maintaining adequate illumination of the vocal cords. Bottom line: cleaner visualization means more confident tube placement.

Surgical stainless steel construction holds up to repeated sterilization cycles without losing the polished finish. At 155mm, the size 2 blade hits the sweet spot for pediatric patients where a size 1 might be too short but larger blades create unnecessary bulk.
