The Kendall SCD 700 Series Controller delivers sequential compression therapy with vascular refill detection that adjusts decompression timing based on individual patient physiology. Unlike fixed-cycle compression devices, it monitors circulation and adapts therapy accordingly.
The animated alarm system shows specific error causes and solutions on a 3.2-inch color display, reducing troubleshooting time for staff. Worth noting: the USB port allows software updates without equipment downtime. The controller works in both facility and home settings with the same clinical protocols.
The unit’s vibration dampeners and soft overmolding keep operational noise low during overnight use. It attaches to most footboards and cleans with standard hospital-grade agents.
