The Hausted SurgiChair eliminates patient transfers for head-and-neck procedures by converting from transport gurney to surgical chair to recovery bed in one unit. Electronic controls adjust the articulating headpiece and leg sections while maintaining proper positioning throughout the entire perioperative workflow.

Battery backup keeps the chair operational during power interruptions, while dual control knobs give surgeons precise positioning control. The emergency backrest release immediately returns patients to horizontal position when needed. Worth noting: the 10-inch height adjustment range improves patient accessibility for transfers and staff ergonomics.

The 3-inch mattress uses 4-way stretch upholstery that reduces shear forces during position changes. The chair handles up to 500 pounds and articulates through 80 degrees of backrest movement with 6-degree Trendelenburg capability.
