About the Drager Fabius MRI-Compatible Anesthesia Machine
The Fabius MRI delivers anesthesia and ventilation inside 1.5T and 3T magnetic fields without compromising functionality. Unlike standard anesthesia machines that can’t enter MRI suites, this unit operates safely in high-field environments while maintaining the clinical capabilities you expect from the proven Fabius platform.
The E-vent piston ventilator requires no drive gas, which eliminates one potential failure point in the MRI environment. The high-resolution color display and color-coded alarms give you clear patient status information even in the dimmed lighting typical of imaging suites. Worth noting: the modular design supports everything from pediatric to adult cases without requiring separate equipment.
The COSY 2.6 breathing system mounts on either side and removes completely for cleaning between cases. Three integrated drawers keep supplies organized, while the four-wheel base with central braking makes positioning straightforward in tight MRI spaces.
