You get three dimming levels (100%, 75%, 50%) controlled right from the autoclavable handle, so no need to break sterility for adjustments. The focused beam gives you a 7.7-inch light field with 26.5 inches of depth, meaning consistent illumination even when you can’t position the head directly overhead. LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours, which works out to 15-20 years of typical use.
