The Sun-Flex’s articulating tip bends to improve epiglottis visualization without the pinching common in fixed-blade laryngoscopes. The English channel profile guides the epiglottis while giving you a clearer view of the vocal cords during intubation.

In practice, the articulating mechanism lets you adjust blade position after insertion rather than repositioning the entire laryngoscope. The fiber optic bundles are field-replaceable, so you won’t need to send the whole unit out for repairs when illumination fails. Worth noting: the set includes both size 3 and 4 blades plus a backup lamp.
