The Drager 8000 IC Infant Incubator’s many safety features make it an asset to any NICU. Automatic self-tests at every startup help to ensure all programs, modules and features are functioning properly. Machine diagnostic tests are also run at 10 minute intervals during use. The units hierarchical alarms are customizable for each unique case.
The microprocessor-controlled heat and humidity keeps the neonate safe in a hygienic space with little direct airflow. Babies rest comfortably on the soft foam mattress while heated and humidified air flows over the entire front face of the canopy and then extracted below the back wall. While the accessible hand ports are open, the air curtain remains intact for a constant incubation environment.
Electronic actuators control the incubator’s incubator height, while rotating casters allow smooth, easy movement. The Drager 8000 IC features side rails for additional equipment and a swivel cupboard for efficient storage.
